She lives in a constant bubble surrounded by false friends, fans that love her due to her lucky bloodline. Lilac LaRoux is a wealthy heiress in the galaxy. He is a fighter, he’s sturdiness mixed with empathy, but certain aspects about his him do not make him feel realistic as an 18-year old. Tarver, on the other hand, does not depict a man’s character for the femininity of his narration. Lilac and Tarver’s relationship is great although Lilac comes off as a bad girl, in the beginning, she later improves.
The romance was entirely believable, though a little devastating due to the surroundings and the circumstances. The descriptions are well done it flowed well, given that the novel was collaboration between two novelists.
The plot is survival-based the connection between the survivors makes this book unique. Star Bound is a brilliantly written space oeuvre, with elements of the supernatural.
